How to create a new Planning cycle

Hi experts ,

We would like to create new Planning cycle in SAP to organize materials delivery every "Thursdays on odd numbered weeks".they likely to have this new planning cycle agreed with one of their supplier

could you please guide me how we can create for every thursdays on odd numbered weeks

As expert, could you please confirm if this Planning cycle can be apply to a specific “supplier” and not to a “material” ?

Hello,

This is not possible in the standard ECC MRP. MRP will only consider a planning calendar assigned on the material master.

In APO you can have the vendor specific planning calendar.

Could you please confirm if we have another way to group deliveries of a supplier with any SAP PP set-up instead of APO

After creating planning calendar with Thursday odd weeks we facing one issue ...it worked well for 2020 which has 53 weeks again system considering even weeks from 2021 .

Could you please guide me how to avoid this .
