Business Application Studio usage across SAP products/ technologies.

Hi,

This seems like a major awesome upgrade to the already awesome web IDE. I have a few questions around whether this IDE can be used across SAP products/ technologies.

1. Today we use CPI to perform iflow changes/ extensions. Will it be possible to do such modifications in the SAP Business Application Studio?

2. Today, we use the cloud application studio to perform PDI changes in C/4HANA suite. Will it be possible to do such modifications in the SAP Business Application Studio?

3. If we already own Web IDE licenses, is there an incremental cost to upgrade to Business Application Studio or is this a new service that we need to purchase or will this be available as part of the existing web IDE licenses that customers have.

Thank you

Julius

    Hi Julius,

    Thank you for your feedback!

SAP Business Application Studio will support additional scenarios and technologies to allow you to develop applications across SAP solutions, stay tuned to see our roadmap which will be released soon.

1+2- these are not planned currently.

3 - SAP Business Application Studio is a new service which you can license separately from SAP Web IDE.

    Thanks,

    Keren
