Unable to Start J2EE engine

Hi everybody,

I just completed the installation of Web AS 6.40 (OS is Win 2003, Oracle 9.2) The installation was sucessful and the J2ee engine was running. But when I restarted the system, i am unable to start the J2EE engine. Checked SAPMMC and the Status of the J2EE server is stopped.

The following error is displayed in the developer trace

I checked the Environmental Variables and they are set correctly. The related documents in Help.sap.com did not help...

could you please suggest me how to get over this issue..
