Installing SAP Solution Manager 7.2 on CentOS Linux, is it possible?

Hi there,

I am installing the SAP Solution Manager 7.2 on CentOS linux using SWPM but by starting sapinst which create a link like

http://hostname:port/sapinst ....

But by starting of SWPM I get a Warning

Running an Installation on this distribution of linux is not supported by SAP in anyway

And I have no chance to continue the installation, onlyt the cancel button.

My question is:

1) If it is just a warning why there is no possibility to continue the installation?

2) Is it maybe not possible to install SolMan 7.2 on CentOS anyway?

Hi Rahim,

Please refer PAM for Solution Manager 7.2 which shows only supported Linux are: SUSE, RedHat and Oracle.
