BPC EPM Add-in validate / alert on negative or less than amounts

Hello,

I have been given the requirement of having BPC (Either web or Excel add in) to pop up an alert or atleast show a different color for an ammount that is less than the previous year.

For E.G.

Jan 2019 Jan 2020
Item 1 500 100

I want to pop an alert when saving the 100 or change its color (not with excel conditional formatting)

BPC is capable only to provide some reject message in the pop-up you see AFTER saving data to the model and list of rejected records. This can be developed in ABAP in write back badi.

"Using conditional formatting, when I want to collapse on an option, the total is conditioned to the same formatting" - have you defined conditional formatting in the formatting sheet only for base members?

You can use Excel data validation or conditional formatting! Why not?

Using conditional formatting, when I want to collapse on an option, the total is conditioned to the same formatting, that is why i want to know if BPC is capable on its own for that purpose (even setting up maximum/minimum values)
