Error deploying a service.

Hi,

I get the following message when deploying a KM report as a portal service.

[meta_v2_config://local] error while migrating [metarchive_portal]. The configMetaArchive needs to be removed or migrated 'manually' : ConfigException: Configuration framework system error: "source [config://pcd/local/meta/lib] already contain the configMetaArchive."

Has anyone encountered same or similar error?

Can someone tell me how to remove the configMetaArchive manually?

Thank you,

Best Regards,

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

I am getting the same error message. Did the J2EE engine start for you? This error message is in the defaultTrace.1.trc file and the portal does not start.

Not sure if this error is related to the Portal not starting.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Neeta

Hi Neeta,

No I did not fidn a resolution to the issue.

KM Reports have way too many issues, in terms of deployment, configuration and execution.

I'll let you know if I do find a resolution.

You could do the same.

Any news about this issue ? Did you get it to work ?

I have got the same deployment problem, my report is not working.

I had a similar issue. I tried a number of things and it did not work. Finally I changed the class name, config file name and it worked. It seems to me that the loader was unable to delete the previous configmetaarchive file and hence was aborting. SO when I created a new Config Archive file it worked.
