Hi,
I am trying to install External Drivers for JMS Adapters in the Adapter Framework of Exchange Infrastructure XI-3.0.
For that I am following the "How To Install and Configure External Drivers for JDBC & JMS Adapters" document.
When I try to deploy the .sda file that I have created ,
i am getting a message that
"SDM has not calculated any deployment actions.
Possible reasons:
All selected archives have already been deployed before in the same or in a higher version".
But i cant find any jar files in visual admin workbench.
So i planned to change the Settings for updating SDAs/SCAs
under Deployment Configuration. But it is disabled. I am not able to make any changes.
How do i solve this??

Try this:
In the SDM GUI's Deployment tab, after you have added the SDA to deploy, look toward the bottom of the screen. Look above the "Help" button, there should be a black triangle for "Deployment Configuration".
Click on the triangle, you should get a selection for "Settings for Updating...". Select the option "Updat deployed SDAs/SCAs that have any version".
Click "Next" button to proceed.

Hi William,
Thanks a lot.It worked. Now i have deployed .sda file successfully.Restarted the SDM Server and J2EE Engine.I checked the status of jar files under the .sda file in Visual Admin workbench. Everything is fine. But when i checked the status of the Adapter in AdapterMonitoring workbench, JMS Adapter is disabled. How do i solve this?
