Stored Procedure connects to CR but will not display the data.

I have a stored procedure connected to my SAP Crystal Report 2016 support pack 7 patch 5. The stored procedure is in a MS SQL Server 2014 database. I am connecting to the database thru a ODBC 32 bit connection. The connection is a SQL Server Native Client 11. When I run the report I get no error messages and I get Column headers but I get no data back. If I type in a simple select statement as a command I do get data back. Can anyone tell me what to check?
