I am not a fiori expert but tried to implement the fiori news tile to display information according to https://blogs.sap.com/2016/01/28/how-to-configure-fiori-news-app-by-using-sicf-service-and-rss20/ in our solman system.
To use some custom images I copied the BSP ar_srvc_news to z_srvc_news, uploaded my own images and activated it. According to note 1968559 I created a z* launchpad where I referenced to the news BSP (URL /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/z_srvc_news/). This entry I used in the fiori designer target mapping. As described in the blog I created a custom class to build the rss xml and added the http handler to ths ICF service i maintained in the news tile configuration.
The news tile is working.. news we maintain in the system are displayed. However, there are some issues I cannot solve..
1) the newstile title I maintained in fiori designer target mapping is not displayed
2) there are not background images at all (no deafults, no custom images)
3) in the details, the same SAP default image is displayed for all items
Obviously, the system refers still to the default news tile, not the custom one.
Any ideas?
