​How to set the default value "LOCL" in the field "Logical Destination" (ME21N, Messages)

Hello all,

please advise how I can set the default value "LOCL" in the field "Logical Destination" (ME21N -> Messages -> Communication Method) for the user?

I set the value to 'LOCL' in the field "Output device" (Tcode SU3 -> Tab Defaults), but this does not work. When creating POs, value "LOCL" is not automatically pulled into the field "Logical Destination".

Are there any other customizing? Does this work for a single user and for all kinds of outputs?
