Copying of Inspection result from RM to FG (Batch to Batch) automatically

Hello All,

Is there any functionality to copy the inspection result from Raw material to Finished goods automatically in the system.

The requirement is In raw material there are many inspection characteristics around 15-20 and all are chemical elements. The user records all the characteristics in RM but when it comes to FG, the same chemical elements are applicable in the FG inspection. So for FG, they do not want to record the result again in FG which was recorded earlier in FG. The system should copy the result from the RM batch to the FG batch.

Please look into batch derivation. Your ingot should be the sender material and Angle would be reciever. You define the parameters for which results must be copied along with defing the rule.

Thanks for the prompt reply. But my requirement is not to copy the inspection result from the previous inspection lot.

My requirement is I have the raw material, Ingot. Each piece of Ingot is having an individual batch and each batch of Ingot is having the inspected result. When I use this ingot in manufacturing the FG(Angle), the inspection result of Ingot batch should get copied automatically in FG(Angle) automatically.

Inspection Parameters are Carbon, Manganese, Sulfur and So on.
