IdM 8.0 Developer Studio Login Issue

Hi Experts,

I am getting an error "Invalid Login. Please try again" while login to IDM 8.0 developer studio.

Earlier I was getting SSL error but I managed to fix that. now I am getting this error.

Please help.

Hi saurabh,

There might be many cases where this error message is displayed.

1. the datasource name manintained in the jdbc connection is different to the datat source maintained in the eclipse developer studio plugin under the eclipse->window->preferences->sap identity management-> connections-> datasource.

2. the intial password for the java stack/enterprise portal user may not be changes.

3. The password or user id entered in wrong.

4. check whether user is available in the UME where devestudio service is installed and for that user. idm.authenticated action is assigned.
