how to creat open orders query with every line order showing sum of every order with the item line?

Dear All,

Here I am again looking for a help. I need to prepare a query for an open orders with different line of orders displaying sum of every order with the itme line. For instance,

- oder 1 with 1 Liter ice cream

- order 2 with 2 liters of ice cream.

Therefore in the query report, I need to see the result 3 for ice cream. Could this be possible? If yes, I appreciate if any one can share the available query related to this issue? I thank you in advance.
