Hi all,

I'm displaying a Bex Query data in WEBI which has conditions that is applied to certain characteristics only (Characteristics Assignment tab - Individual Characteristics and Char. Combinations option).

I'm having POL, POD, Main Line, Calday and TEU (Key Figure) in my output. In the condition I have put Top 5 values of TEU and assigned Characteristics to POL, POD and Main Line. What this does is that it applies the top 5 restriction to only POL, POD and Main LIne and when I drag in Calday it shows all the values. I'm having a filter on calday of last 3 months excluding current month. Please see attached screenshots and let me know if there is a way to do this in WEBI. I have tried to use sort and filter on TEU and calday but thats not giving me the desired output.

Hi Amit,

Thanks for your suggestion. I've tried ranking but that doesn't seem to help, firstly because ranking has the option to base the ranking on only one dimension whereas I want to rank it based on 3. Secondly, I'm getting the "UNAVAILABLE" error on my measures when I apply ranking probably because my Bex Keyfigures are formulas and not direct key figures.

you can create Rank variable to rank the values based on the multiple dimensions.Later on the you can add filter and can restrict the data.

V RANK=Rank([Sales revenue];([Year];[Month]))

For to avoid unavailable error do the calculation at webi report level instead of doing at BEx query
