SAP ME create a new POD

Dear all,

I am new on SAP ME and I am trying to create a new workcenter POD based on the WORK_CENTER_TOUCH POD.

1. First I went to POD maintenance and retrieved the data from the Standard POD WORK_CENTER_TOUCH changed the Name and saved it.

2. After that I went to activity maintenance retrieved and copied the Standard activity TOUCH_OPER_POD and again changed the Name and saved it.

3. Next step was user Group maintenance to getting the user Group Access to the new pod.

4. I have logged out and in again and so far so good I can see the new POD in the menu, but when I open it it does not give me any lists, Buttons, SFC...

So I think there is just a missing step to make the POD do what it should. Any Ideas

Best regards,

Matthias

FYI the latest versions of SAP ME How-To Guides are available at help.sap.com/me, under "Configuration" section on "Implement" tab. In particular, how to set up PODs.

Hi Matthias,

When you created the activity for POD, in the "Class/Program" section of the activity screen, in the value string have you replaced the "WORKSTATION" part with your newly created POD name?

Dibyadeep.

"WORKSTATION" parameter needs to be updated, as mentioned above.
