Extend MDG M- UI using Feeder Enhancement and SPI Model MDG_MAT

Dear Experts,

I have followed the How to Document- Extend MDG-M User Interface(EhP6) and the section 4.2.1 Feeder Enhancement and 4.2.2 Enhance SPI Model MDG_MAT.

I am able to see the newly add custom fields(which are not defined in Data Model) in the UIBB. But these fields are displayed as READ ONLY. Is it the standard behavior ? Or is there a way to make these custom fields(which are not defined in Data Model) editable? The necessary steps defined in the document are followed including wiring.

Below are couple of observations. I have hard code/fetched values from Z table and the data is getting displayed in the custom field. The only blocker rite now is to make the custom field(which are not defined in Data Model) editable.

Hi Maharshi,

have you did the configuring for you custom field under field group setting Tcode : OMSR your custom fields.
