Error in Determine JDBC driver location Step

Hello everyone,

We are facing an issue when we are trying to update Java stack "ABAP stack is not updated yet " , The SUM process has stopped with an error.

Update to SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.2

An error occured during the execution of Determine JDBC driver location of action configure.
Service com.sap.sdt.j2ee.services.servicesimpl.EngineProfileService failed with the following message:

The procedure cannot proceed with JVM6 option and target product NetWeaver 750 or later.

For more information, see the log file C:\usr\sap\<SID>forjava\SUM\sdt\log\SUM\DETERMINE-JDBC-DRIVER_03.LOG.

Use the provided information to troubleshoot the problem. There might be a SAP note providing a solution to this problem. Search the SAP notes using the following search terms:

Hi Hamza,

Basically you need to use JVM 8 of SUM to update to NW 7.5

I've faced very weird issue with this one where I wasn't able to start SUM with JVM 8 although target was 7.5 which of course followed whole bunch of other issues and I'd to kind of manually switch SAPJVM to 8 on a shadow instance for ABAP and on updated JAVA stack.
One of the handy document would be SAP Note 2296719 - Software Update Manager (SUM) does not switch the SAPJVM to the compatible target release ... and following parameters:

DIR_SAPJVM SAPJVM_VERSION _CPARG0 Start_Program_xx
