SAP JVM (JRE) installation for SAP HANA Express addition

Hi, I downloaded SAP HANA JVM from tools as pre-installation step for SAP HANA express addition using an image to install it on my local desktop. I unzipped it but not sure which .exe file I need to run it to execute it. Can someone suggest if they know.

Hi Ankit. Once you unzipped it, then you should have java executables in unzipped bin directory.

The next steps are usually:

* Set environment variable JAVA_HOME to the root directory of the extracted archive,

* Add $JAVA_HOME/bin to the environment variable PATH

I thing for SAP download manager is required to install the java runtime environment 8 on your laptop not on VM, refer the link

The other way around: Java is required to run HANA express Download Manager.
