Hi Jwala,

with the current release you need an additional service to read text from PDF. SAP provides this services on SAP Cloud Platform e.g. SAP Document Information Extraction. You can use also external 3rd party services and integrates the services via an API call. We are working on a integrated solution to read data from PDF as you can see on our roadmap.

Hi,

it is planned for the release end of April to offer a function to read PDFs, not scanned documents or pictures.

I think now we can use ctx.pdf activities. I have 1.0.8.36 Desktop Studio version. But I am not able to use pdf activities. What is your recommendation for me?

Trial version is always updated a little later than the Licensed one. Check again in the next few days/weeks and you'll have the version with all the PDF activities
