Hi Team,
I am trying to create a unique URL for each of my repositories because each repository works as an individual environment. Therefore, I am trying to give each of them unique URLs so that they can be identified and authorized accordingly. Is it possible to do this fully or partially in SAP BODS using CMC? By Partially, I mean having multiple aliases for the URL.
Current URL: {machinename}:{port}/DataServices/launch/logon.do
Exepted URL: {URL Alias1}/DataServices/launch/logon.do, {URL Alias2}/DataServices/launch/logon.do etc..
Is it possible to have authorization and authentication setup at the repository level in management console for different users?
Hi Vidit,
I think it's better if you have different landscape for each repository, you can use common URL because as per your query CMS is common only change is local repository access that can manage via CMC.
You can restrict access of separate repo via CMC and Data Services Management console, but for that you have to update your security, please refer security guide for more details.

i don't think so you can create 3 different URL for same IP because its not company standard policy.
Also if CMC or Tomcat down then it will impact all your URL.

Thanks for your Inputs Daya, I am majorly looking at the information on how to keep different URLs for each local repository. User Access to the repository is not a problem and thanks for the article suggestion.
I want to keep different URLs for each local repository, Is that possible on the same BODS server sharing the same CMS?
Hi Vidit,
Please check with your security team its possible or not, technically you can via alias but functionality please check with your security team.
Again as i mentioned above of Tomcat/Web Server and CMS is down it will impact all URL's, Regarding security for each local repo please refer Administrator guide attached in above thread.

Daya Jha
