introducing Service id in a service catalogue

Hi All

I have a requirement, we have product catalog and service catalog, however we are able to introduce product id for the product catalog, can any one please help me how we can introduce service id for a service catalog or atleast when the service item is transferred to the SC the service id field is greyed out . how can we enable it for the user to input the service id in the SC.
