[C4C] Editing a Field on a Preceding (Read-Only) Document

I am trying to change some converted leads' reason codes via data workbench.

However, I am receiving the following error:

"Changing data not possible; data is read-only"

Is there a way to bypass that? Since I am only changing the reason code it won't affect the following opportunity. How can I edit a read-only field?

Hi Kemal Atakan,

The status Converted is the end of a Lead life cycle, often generating a new document (Opportunity, Account, Account and Contact). Once this is done, the Lead cannot be modified — even on the UI, all fields will be locked as read-only — and cannot be reopened. That is why Data Workbench will not allow you to edit or create a Lead already with this status.
