Validation of fileds in qualified tables.

I have a qualified table with price and date information for different sales organisastion. I would like to make a validation on the values for each sales organisation but find no way to identify which of the instances of the records in the qualified table I shall check on. Do anyone have any ideas how this can be done?

Hi John,

If i have undestood your question correctly, then i think you are not able to segregate the records from different sales organisation so that you can apply some validations accordingly.

If i am correct then you should associate remote keys while impoting the data from different sales organisations so that you can identify the different set of records coming from different sales organisations.

Hope this helps.

Hi John,

Even though I did not put much effort in understanding your problem, I would like to tell you that currently, there is a problem with Validations on Qualified tables and this known bug will be fixed in SP4 which is due in Q3 2006.

Hi John,

Once the records in the Qualified table has been entered, you need to go back to main table and need to manually assign the non-qualifiers (record of the qualified table) to the main table records.

This can be done by going to the record mode, selecting the qualified table tab in the record detail pane, selecting the required qualified values for the sales organisation and adding them to Available pane.

Now you can assign the sales organisation to the selected records.

Hope it helps.
