While saving a contract I am getting error .

No status object exists for SDI 42324229/10

Message no. BS001

Diagnosis

If you are creating a SD document via a BAPI - refer to SAP note 783859 - Error BS001 during sales and distribution document creation.

For identifying and repairing inconsistent documents - refer to SAP note 2546 - Status object does not exist in the sales order.

In 2841049 - BS001 while creating or editing sales documents they mention a different kind of problem resulting in the same error, it may be good to verify whether this corresponds to your situation.
