Our company is upgrading from SAP R/3 to S/4 HANA, and the general business community will be accessing S/4 HANA through the Fiori browser interface, while GUI logins will only be allowed to IT and a short list of super/power users. The preferred access will be via Chrome. I understand that our former recordings and automations based on them written with VBScript will be working on GUI after the upgrade based on

However, we wonder if there are any feature similar to Script Recording and Playback working for the browser access in HANA.
Also can our old recordings from GUI R/3 be somehow applied when using a browser access? Thank you very much in advance for your help in this matter.
Hello
For S/4HANA scripting, SAP now sell process automation software, this might be too much for your requirements, but is worth a look - https://www.sap.com/uk/products/robotic-process-automation.html.

With "... browser access in HANA ..." you mean using the SAP Fiori Applications on S/4HANA I think (that this is really directly related to the DB system itself).

For GUI things (GUI can still be used for some things) you can use the available scripting tool. For Fiori things I don't know any solution offered directly by SAP.
