How to migrate the SAP FIORI app from onpremise system to SAP cloud Foundry(Hana) ?

Hi All,

We have all the SAP FIORI application which is deployed in the SAP on-premise system. Now we want to migrate all the SAP FIORI application to SAP cloud foundary(Hana). Can you suggest what are changes need to do in SAP FIORI.

Hi,

I'm assuming you still want the actual data to be fetched from your on-premise system. In general I think you can take following approach:

1. Setup SAP Cloud Connector in your on-premise landscape
2. Create a destination on Cloud Foundry
3. Import Fiori App from on-premise system into SAP Web IDE
4. Update Fiori App destination to reflect the destination created in Cloud Foundry
5. Deploy the app as an HTML application in Cloud Foundry (or Portal)

In Addition to Geert-Jan Klaps migration efforts depends on your quality of code and if it is compatible with SAP web IDE coding std like Folder structure,routing and mappings , Libraries and services calls handling .
