Hi,
Over the last few days I noticed that some services on my HANA system are not starting:
If I restart the host and start the database I get the error "FAIL: Timeout error during HDB Start Command" and the same services again show as being stopped.
We are usng HANA 2.0 (2.00.043.00.1569560581)
SNOTE 2093480 suggests that the issue can occur due to the logs volume being full, however I there is ample space on the system:
Any thoughts?
Issue was found to be that the license had indeed not been applied correctly, it had been applied to a single instance and not the system DB, correcting this has resolved the issue.

Hi Sunny,
Did you check the daemon_<hostname>.<port>.trc trace?
I would start my analysis over there to check what is happening. Usually meaningful messages are available from there. As the specific servers that are not starting are XSA related, you can check the following KBA to check what is causing the startup issue:

There is no simple solution as the symptom is generic (service not starting). You'll have to troubleshoot the system to find out, but the above information should be helpful to start.
Cheers,
Luis
