SAP IRPA DESKTOP AGENT remained in paused state

Hi ,

i am trying sap IRPA trail version i have registered the tenant to the desktop agent to the tenant but the sap cloud IRPA factory is showing as preparing and the desktop is showing as paused please find the below attachments.

Hi Shyammsai,

please check the Agent Tenant Registration again. In addition please create the Hello World bot and execute the bot. You should see that the agent isn't preparing anymore.

If the problem persist please come back here again.

Even after rechecking the Agent Tenant Registration, it still shows the same as "Paused".

please create a project, export the project and upload the project to the factory and deploy it with an environment where your agent is assigned. Then add an attended trigger. The status will changed.

Find a solution for this, please do enable these two options in your internet explorer.

Enable: Allow active content from CDS to run on My Computer

Enable: Allow active content to run in files on My Computer.

Thank you Venkatesh. This solved the issue of the bot not showing up on the desktop agent. Maybe it happens on windows desktops only.

I think many developers have the same problem. Perhaps this is somehow due to the fact that Desktop Agent was recently updated (1912) or section "project" was created (1910). My problem is solved in the following way:

[1]. Desktop Studio:

[1.1]. menu "File \ New project"

[1.2]. add logic

[1.3]. menu "Debug \ Build"

[1.4]. menu "File \ Export project" (zip)

[2]. Cloud Factory:

[2.1]. new project

[2.2]. import zip

[2.3]. generate package

[2.4]. deploy

[2.5]. add trigger

[3]. Desktop Agent:

[3.1]. restart

[3.2]. wait 5-10 minutes

Just in case, I’ll leave a link to troubleshooting page.

Thanks a lot, the problem still exists the status at the factory is "being prepared". And the agent status ist "paused"...
