Should port for inboud email be listed in netstat -a

I have performed the configuration to allow for inbound email processing. I added the profile parameters and activated/configured the SAPCONNECT service and it is using the port I defined in the profile. I restarted the system, but when I do a netstat -a I do not see that port as listening. I assume it should be.

Hello Mary,

Short answer: yes.

Double check the parameter "icm/server_port_X" that you would have created to open the port with protocol SMTP.

The issue was that the Outlook routing had not been perfomed. But Note 607108 was helpful for peace of mind that my config was correct.
