Hi all,

in SCPI/HCI is there a maximum number of endpoints one can publish over a production tenant?

Hello Christian,

As per my understanding dont see any restriction on no end points published from SAP CPI. Restriction is there only from No Of Connections perspective based on the Licensing model ( Refer below for explanation about Connections ).

A SAP Cloud Platform Integration connection is an association between two unique end points via the SAP Cloud Platform Integration, independently of the direction and counted at runtime. A unique end point is a combination of the IP address and port. Non-production connections shall not be counted for purposes of determining the number of connections".

If you are talking SalesForce Integration with SAP S4Hana,connection is counted as 1 ( connections are considered only from Production perspective ).

Hi Sriprasad Shivaram Bhat,

I've got the same question but I don't understand which are considered "Connections".

Do you refer to the value that we can find in Subaccount Usage Analytics (jpg in attachment)?

I also found a question (https://answers.sap.com/questions/356791/regarding-number-of-connections-in-sap-cloud-platf.html) that talks about 10 connections by default, but I don't know if it's true or not.

Thank you.

Regards,

Nicola

Dear Sriprasad Shivaram Bhat,

this concept of connection is not wholly clear to me. Let me show some examples.

Example 1

I have one http service published in my tenant, I'd say I have one connection only. What if this endpoint is reached by three different clients? Would it count for three connections?

Example 2

I have one iflow deployed which calls the same system on different endpoints, let's say for http method GET, POST and PUT: does it count for three connections?

Example 3

I have an iflow and one receiver connector which address is configured with a parameter (${property.Address}) which can have multiple values depending on a previous step within the iflow. How many connections are counted?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Found no proper answer to this question in my searching but there's a standard api that counts scpi connections for you.
