PM maintenance program with alternative Internal/External Operation

Hi Gurus

A user of mine, ask a solution for this problem related to a PM maintnance program.
The Equipment A needs a maintenence program where a task is executed every 3 months.
The task must be executed alternatively Internal or External, so after 3 months the task will be executed Internally, but the follow after 6 months will be executed externally, because teh task require a calibration too executed with a special tool by the Supplier of equuipment. I thought to replace the routing linked to the plan by a User-Exit, but none of existing UE which link a Routing to a PM Order is passed throught, when the plan is scheduled using IP10.
Any idea to solve this issue ? Thanks in advance for your help.

There are a few ways..

1. A single plan with two maintenance items (3M task list and 6M task list), and the 6M package has a higher heirarchy than the 3M

2. Use cycle sets

3. Use packages with offsets
