Siva,

there is a difference between adding characteristics / KF to a cube with data / without data.

With Data : you could look at having some provisins for new KFs to be added later

Without data : you can change it any time.

Also depending on the volume and nature of data , these decisons are impacted.

Hi Siva,

You can add additional fields later in your infocube, however if you need to push historical data for these newly inserted fields, you need to make use of User-Exits.

You can add new fields in your TS and activate it.

Also, check this link.....

Hello Siva,

if the cube has data, it has to be deleted and then the structure needs to be changed.

You can always add infoobjects to the cube by selecting it from the right hand side and bringing them to the left panel. then you need to assign them to appropraite dimensions.

Also the communciation structure needs to have these fields and the transfer rules mapped.

Dont forget to map the same in the update rules too to define the loading process of these fields.

Hope it helps..

Thanks,

Hi,

No problem you can add.

Add that Infoobjects in cube and add in Transfer structure and activate.

Thanks
