ChaRM ans ITSM supported attachments

Hi guys,

Is there any way to see which attachment files are allowed in SAP Solution Manager - Change Request Manager?

I've found SAP Notes with some info about ITSM allowed attachment types

• 569392 SAP Support Desk: Send attachments to SAP,
• 1510518 Incident Management: Warning for invalid file types

but I'd like to know if the same applies for charm.

My SAP Solution Manager is not yet configured. I'd just like to know if there is any way yo know this information before.

Please let me know if you have any idea.

Hello there,

I don't think that restrictions exists in file types in files upload, maybe only if they defined on virus scan profile, if active (profiles are changeable).

These two notes that you mentioned are not restrictions in SolMan ITSM, but a limitation on a specific ITSM scenario: forwarding Incidents to SAP ONE Support directly from Solution Manager. You can attach any file type on SolMan Incident message, but some of them may not be upload to ONE Support related Incident message (less attachments in ONE Support Portal than in your Solution Manager Incident message).
