PM Order - Change relationship between operations in a Network

Hi Expert,

Does anybody know how the system determined the relationship creates in the network structure? when I drag the mouse pointer sometimes system creates FS and sometimes SS.

Also after relationships created it sin not editable in the graphical mode( See attache fs.jpg ) Is this standard?

Hi Ashok,

In this view, you define the relationship by the way you draw the line. In the operation box you can see 4 dates, which represent the early/late start and early/late end.

If you start drawing from the beginning from one operation to the beginning of the next, it will create a SS relationship. If you start drawing from the end of one operation to the beginning of the next, it will create a FS rel.

So it is depending on in which area of the operation box you start and end your line.
