Hi,
We have ECC 5.0 and EP 6.0 installed with ESS and MSS WebDynpro.
I have 3 clients in ECC , 100 , 200 and 300. Previously I have
configured EP with Client 100(Default client for ECC). Now with few
requirement I have changed JCO Destination and Connector of EP to
Client 300. I have restarted
all the services correctly.
However I have encounter with one issues ( can be J2ee features). If I have User in Client 300 only and not in client 100. While EP Login, when User click on WebDynpro application such like "Employee Self services" it popup for "EP login" screen once again.
I have checked all the setting for JCO destinations, System Connector , and System aliase. I couldn't find what am I missing.
Please suggest.
Sanny.
Hi Lad
I ll have to assume the following
->The webdynpro is running on the Java stack of ECC and EP holds just the Business package
->The EP UME points to client 300 but the Java stack continues to point the old default client which is 100.
If so then this behaviour is possible...

Hi,
We have fixed this issue.
We have changed parameter ume.r3.connection.master.client = <Current Client>.
Thanks

Hi Pran,
Thanks.
Your assumption is absolutely correct. My UME point to 300, however Java stacks are still in 100 which was default.
Well, does any other way to modify Java stacks setting and point to Cl 300. Do we have any setting in Java stack which we can modify for this? I really don't want to "Reinstall" the Java.
What does SAP recommend to change Java stacks setting? do we need to keep User id for both the client , I mean default client 100 and then again working client 300.
Thanks in advance.
Sanny.
