Hi all

We have an issue from our customer for packing process in EWM.

When the user acess /SCWM/PACK and create an HU the system must show messages from the outbound delivery.

Does anyone have allready see this scenario?

Hi Luiz Huelsmann,

As per my understanding from the Phrase, the packing instructions(TEXTs/Fields) are maintained somewhere in outbound Delivery (ERP) Which also replicate into ODO(Warehouse Request in EWM) and users want to view the instructions during packing in Packaging Station (HU Creation). Is it correct or something else? Could you please elaborate your requirement.

I think currently Display of Text from Outbound Delivery is supporting for Kitting process and also activity text.

Hi Janine,

...there is nothing on HU header level in standard as far as I know. Not straightforward though as EWM HUs can have multiple items from multiple different deliveries. We once build a custom logic in order to throw a pop up upon work center access.

Text from delivery item level can be displayed on HU item level in standard via the text tab (see attachment).

Hello Hendrik,

do you know if I have to make additional settings to display delivery Texts (standard) at the workplace? I already have the delivery Texts copied in the EWM outbound delivery request, but they are not displayed at the work center. The check mark in the work center "Texts for product" is checked. This is an embedded EWM in S/4HANA1909.

Hi Ajit

Your understanding is correct. Outbound delivery messages must be displayed to the user in transaction / SCWM / PACK. For example: packaging cannot weigh more than 20KG.
