SAP Analytics Cloud write back to BW

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to write back Data to SAP BW from my SAP Analytics Cloud. What I want to this is this:

I am importing the Data from BW/4HANA via a Data Import Connection into the SAC then use the imported data for Planning (for example planning using Workflow) and then want this data written back to my BW/4HANA.

I know that currently there is no export connection available for the BW but is there a way or workaround to write the data back to BW?

Hi Florian,

This is possible by default if you have an embedded BPC model and connect your input ready query to SAC via live BPC connection.

Export to BW/4 aDSO is possible (via OData). Should I think also work with BWonHANA.

Hi Florian,

I used write back functionality using HANA database with Live Data connection but with BW. I am also waiting for Q1 2020 if such functionality will come.

In HANA we can easily achieve it my HANA XSJS.

I see "Export to SAP BW" is on the roadmap for 2020 Q1

Not tested, but 2 ways should work:

a) Export data via OData services

b) Export Model as File

Both sources should be possible to load in BW.
