BW Modeling Tools: Unable To Execute Data Transfer Process from Hana Studio / Eclipse

I installed the BW Modeling tools and created BW objects.

I was able to correctly create and configure every component.

Unfortunately I am unable to execute the DTP (data transfer package). I tried all different approaches (right click > execute and using the button in the top right of the dtp properties screen), both in SAP HANA STUDIO as well as in Eclipse.

After starting the execution, the progress information window opens with 'DTP is starting' for 8 seconds, without any effect.

After creating a proess chain via RSA1, i was able to execute the dtp and activate the data.

Similarly, I am unable to manage the adso (via the right click f the adso).

How can I fix this?

I am also facing the same issue. Any notes etc?

There is a alternative to run the DTP though - via Process Chain or via transaction code RSDTP.

We had the same problem after upgrading to BW/4HANA 2.0 (and updating Modeling Tools to the lastest version).

After debugging I have found out that object RSJOBENQUEUE had locks and this was the cause. I removed the entries via SM12 for this object and my user (after making sure these are really obsolete) and it solved the problem.

The note also suggests to recreate the Eclipse workspace.

Thank you for the hint. Since SM12 is obsolete I used SMENQ and deleted the lock entries against my user and this solved the issue.
