Hi Mahmoud,

As the message says, you will receive mail as soon as the manual check confirm you are eligible to subscribe for that solution. Looks like the automatic check fails, so you can expect this procedure for each subscription you make. It usually take less than a day.

Nikola

Thank you Nicola. I got the email. I created the instance. But I don't know how to see the system in real. how to reach the stage where I can see the S4HANA 1909 application.

Could you please help with that

Regards

Mahmoud

Hi Mahmoud,

What do you mean by "system in real"? When your instance is running there should be Connect button both in instances list and in instance details. It should contain connections to all endpoints of all applications, which are part of the solution. Also you can download the SSH key and to make OS login to all the virtual machines.

Regards,
Nikola

Hi,

I am unable to deploy IDES EHP8 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 on SAP ASE, June 2021 to my Google Cloud account.

I get the following error message "We are sorry but this solution cannot be provided for your country currently. We will send you an e-mail as soon as this problem has been solved".

Could you please fix this or what can be done?

Thanks.

Hi Mahmoud,

we have configured PPM to a certain degree in the appliance as documented in the respective demo guide (linked from the overall demo guide blog page).

If this doesn't cover your demo / trial needs, you would need to create your own data in the system, I'm afraid.

Best regards,

Joerg

Hi Nicola,

Good day and I hope you had a nice weekend.

Yeah I am able now to connect thru the RDP, I was lucky to read the welcome page once I connected to the VM where I found all the details, with user name and passwords based of the role of each user.

But when I tried to log in using the PPM Project Portfolio Management, It was a surprise for me to find it empty of any demo data. Do you know any good sample or demo environment where I can test or have a look on a good preconfigured company for Project System please?

Thank you so much for support

Mahmoud

Hi Mahmoud,

You can use the SAP GUI connection, but you need to have SAP GUI locally installed and perhaps later on you'll need to deal with more problems. This is a direct link and may need more technical knowledge.

For you I would recommend the RDP connection - it will open a terminal to Windows Frontend. The whole idea of this VM is to make your life easier with preconfigured connections and tools.

What you have there and how to use it is described in the solution Getting Started Guide and you will really need to read it, as my expertise ends here. Each CAL solution contains different products and I'm not familiar with all of them.

Nikola

Hi Mahmoud,

Click the Activate button (see the screenshot) cusersi024120desktopmahmoud.png

Wait until the instance status become Active (green square icon)

At the same place you'll see Connect button instead of Activate. Click it and you'll see dialog with all connections.

Also in the upper right corner you can see ? button, if you click it you'll see the help for the functions on the current screen.

Nikola

Dear Nicola,

Good day

Kindly check the attached please .

Regards

Mahmoud

Hi Mahmoud,

Your solution is Activated, the solution is the template you can create instances from. That is ok.

Your instance is suspended. By default CAL start all instances with scheduled suspend after 8 hours to avoid unexpected customer expense for infrastructure. You can manage the schedule of your instance when you edit the instance details.

To work with S/4 HANA you first need to resume the instance using the Activate button. When the process is completed there will be Connect button in the same place you now see the Activate button.

Regards,
Nikola
