Hi
Has anyone used the Fiori App "My Inbox" to integrate SAP GRC approval requests?
I have a scenario whereby the S/4 system and the GRC systems and standalones. We can use the Role approval in GRC but this would mean the user would have to jump to GRC for all approvals. It would make more sense to centralize all requests in the My Inbox app in the S/4 system. Is this a standard integration?
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has done this.
Michael
Hi Michael,
I had the same requirement in one of the engagements and the response i got from SAP is it is not possible to integrate GRC Work Items into FIORI inbox.
"TASKPROCESSING" is the FIORI service which fetches the workitem tasks from S4HANA, ECC, Fraud Management systems but the same service is not able to fetch the tasks from GRC system.

Madhu

We have the same question/need. We can get the work items to Workflow to the consolidated Inbox, but the buttons to action the work items don't work. We're still working on it. I agree a universal work inbox needs to be developed for a good user experience.
Michael - Did you figure anything out on your end?

Hi Michael,
GRC has it's own Fiori application for Access Approval, I guess it is available from 10.1 SP20 and for sure from GRC 12.0 version and ofcourse approvers, all GRC Fiori apps needs UIGRAC001 to deployed in your S/4H Gateway system.. In case, you need more details please review https://help.sap.com/doc/e2ccae7ee6354b169cf845cd665e07fe/1.0%202016-07/en-US/frameset.htm?frameset....

Hi Vijay,
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct, GRC does have its own Inbox, but we would like to utlize the main inbox. There is a "Universal" inbox but this ironically doesnt fit for the GRC inbox. Have you seen any other clever ways of centralizing the location for notifications, we would just like to avoid users having to move away from the universal inbox.
Many thanks,
Michael
