BP Archiving/Deleting

Hi All,

I am trying to carry out a mass deletion of Business Partners from CRM database.

Firstly I am trying to write all Business Partners to Archive file and then delete them. I have gone through all customizing mention on help portal.

While writing to Archive file using transaction SARA, it is ending up with a message " you have not selected any data records for archiving".

Could anybody help how to select data records for archiving.

Any help on this topic (arichiving and deleting BP data) is appriciated.

Hi Anil,

To write BP in archiving log, first use trx BUPA_PRE_DA. Here set the archiving flag for all the BP te be deleted and in COntrol Data section, you can select the application archiving log tobe saved.

Then use trx BUPA_DEL to carry out the mass deletion.

Pankaj,

For some Business partners while setting archive status using BUPA_PRE_DA, It is not setting archive and ending up with error message "Business Partner is only used actively in Organizational Management".

Do you have any suggestions on this?

I have selected one BP in bupa_pre_da for archieve, where can i set control data......

You can delete the cusotmer using the Tcode Bupa_DEL.

You can delete even without archiving using this transaction.
