Customizing DeepLinks

Hi Experts,

Requirement:

Deeplink should be able to add dashes to the list of allowable characters.

Deeplink should be able to begin with any character: number, letter, special character.

Findings:

Found DeeplinkUrlServiceImpl.class file with generateShortUrl,generateUrl methods but while dedugging it's not getting hit.

We added special character for the code attribute from the backoffice and tried giving that code value in the URL, We were getting 404 Error.

Is it possible to achieve the requirement?deeplink.jpg

If yes, Please let us know if there is a workaround on this issue.
