AIF - Retrieving Message

Hello Experts,

Is there anyway to retrieve the messages while transferring inbound request to AIF using class method /aif/cl_enabler_xml=>transfer_to_aif. I tried to call FM APPL_LOG_READ_DB after commit work and wait. But the data is getting not retrieved. Please help.
