Maintenance Item ABC indicator editable in the Maintenance Item

Within a Maintenance Item is it possible to make the ABC indicator field editable? I know that this is reading the data from the assigned technical object but need to know if its possible to make this field editable so that when a Maintenance Order is created the ABC indicator entered in the Maintenance Item is populated on the Maintenance Order
