Maintenance Plan Scheduling - Offset Field during Start in Cycle

1400 Views

Hello PM Experts,

I have a query specific to scheduling of maintenance plans:

When we use the option "Start in Cycle" to schedule or to re-schedule a maintenance plan, we fill in details the following details:

Completion date & Time

Offset - Where we can mention some time period or we can select a package from where to offset.

Even though "Start Date" in MPLA doesn't get updated, but we have table MHIS where we can get the updated "start date" in case of re-scheduling.

In case of "Start in cycle" the completion date becomes the start date along with the offset mentioned.

My query is "When we reschedule a maintenance plan, specifically in case of START IN CYCLE, is the data of completion Date/Time & Offset being saved Anywhere in any table".

Background to the query: We are migrating maintenance plans to SAP S/4 HANA and we have maintenance plans which have been rescheduled quite a number of time using "Start in Cycle". While migrating we have to make sure we start from from the exact call sequence which was next in line in the old system. We still have a logic to get the last call's start date in MHIS to become the completion date, i want a logic to determine the OFFSET to be used for successful migration.
