Bill of Exchange Italy (RiBa) - record 40 issue on Region

Hi experts,

I'm facing an issue regarding the Riba file produced with FBWE transaction.

The file produced is in format IT01 (CBI standard for Italy).

The bank returns an error on record 40 (items 46-70) where the program writes city and region (province) (from customer master data field KNA1-ORT01 and KNA1-REGIO).

The standard include MFBWEF12 of program SAPMFBWE concatenates these two data with a symbol "-" like this:

400000001VIALE ITALIA 12 21047MILANO -MI BANCO BPM SPA

The bank doesn't recognize region due to the symbol "-", but it seems strange to me, because the program is a standard SAP program (unchanged since 2005).

There is no OSS note regarding this issue.Has anyone experienced the same problem?
