Can anyone please tell me what is the exact difference between Master data management and Master data governance.
See also my recent SAP Community blog post on master data integration vs. master data management. Master data management is the generic business term and SAP Master Data Governance is SAP's software solution for this discipline.

Hi Charan,
In an easy word :
MDM: Master data management is the process of handling Master Data & this can be done by a different tool.
Some example:
SAP-MDG: It is a tool of SAP to handle Master data.
Thanks
