How to transfer packaging instructions to EWM

Hi there,

We just upgraded to S/4 1909 with embedded EWM. According to the solution part of the note 2768788 i should be able to transfer the ERP packing instructions as packaging specifications into EWM. In the transaction CFM1 I dont see any option to do this, and for the embedded EWM we don't use this transaction anymore.

How can I transfer the packaging instructions into EWM?

Hi Tamas,

Since S/4HANA 1909 the distribution of ERP packaging instructions to EWM are handled via CIF in Tcode CFM1 & CFM2 for embedded version as well. Therefore look for prerequisite steps mentioned in note 2260234 and check whether BC Set attached to note 2485458 is implemented or not. Finally in transaction CFM1 the checkbox for the PackSpec will appear and now you can enter materials that contains packaging instructions for the CIF distribution.
