Non-English characters in the names are displayed as "?" in Q&A

Is it possible to fix the issue with non-English letters in the names displayed as a question mark (?) in Q&A? Example:

This seems to work fine in the blogs but Q&A does not display the names correctly. This is not very nice IMHO.

Yesterday Russian characters were visible in Activity Stream, but replaced with "?" in comment. Today I see "?" in Activity Stream also. At least consistent 🙂

vadim.kalinin - I guess this was part of the test. 🙂 So it's not just the names affected, it's any text. I can see the text just fine in my Inbox. For those who don't speak Russian: Mirko's comment has English translation (loosely).

The issue with the names is still not solved.... Just checked the original question with Russian user name.

I know about this comment, but the particular user name was not corrected. It may be due to:

1. User didn't login to the system yet.

2. The issue is not fixed

May be you can provide an example of correct name for another user...

By the way, I am unable to understand how user login is related to the issue...

janis.bielajs - in the notifications, these are labeled as "moderator comments" (hence grey background, I guess).

vadim.kalinin - I'm also curious what does this have to do with the user login but as long as the core issue is resolved it's fine. IT works mysterious ways. 🙂
