Aggregation in Hana View - Changes to Sum but defined as Avg

Hello Expert,

Can you please explain this issue ??

In graphical calculation view , On the top aggregation node(default Agg node) I am setting the KPI( Ex: Gross Volume) aggregation behavior AVG.

But, when I display raw data of it & observe the generated SQL SELECT statement it displays as SUM(Gross Volume) instead of AVG(Gross Volume)

why it is getting changed ??
